Ok...so before we all get carried away with these blogs, I should
probably tell you who Barney Stinson's character actually is. I know what your
thinking...you just want hear more stories of his awesomeness but hold on,
you'll be hearing plenty of stories of those...don't you worry.

Barney
Stinson is played by American actor Neil Patrick Harris (born June 15, 1973).
Neil was first well-known for his title role in "Doogie Howser, M.D."
After "Doogie" ended, Neil got involved in theater, and performed in
several Broadway productions. He also had a small but memorable cameo in the
comedy "Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle," in which he played a
"drug and sex addicted" version of himself. He is currently starring
in How I Met Your Mother as the womanizing Barney.
Neil
Patrick Harris began working with the cast of How I Met Your Mother
since September 2005 and has been a critical success, receiving consistently
positive reviews throughout its run. It has won five Emmy awards, including a
nomination for "Outstanding Comedy Series" in 2009. How I Met Your
Mother won the People's Choice Awards 2012 for Best TV Network Comedy and
Neil Patrick Harris won the Best Male Comedy Actor, in January 12, 2012.
Neil Patrick Harris is
portrayed as the womanising Barney Stinson who is a player with the ladies,
constantly boasting about his sexual achievements. However, contrary to this,
Neil Patrick Harris is in fact homosexual! He is now married to his partner David
Burtka and they have had fraternal twins via a surrogate mother. Namely Gideon
Scott, a boy, and Harper Grace, a girl, were born on October 12, 2010.
