Broship- A New Kind of Friendship.
A true friend.
A true friend is someone you can depend the world on. They're always there for you. Even in the middle of the night. Or when you're girlfriend leaves you. Or when you're angry, sad, or even super happy and just want to get drunk. They'll put their selves through three nights straight of parties, right before their law exam, just so you have a chance to hook up with a girl you like. They'll always try and patch things up when they make a mistake. Even when you tell them that you love them on the first date.They look out for the best of you and use their better judgement when you're blinded with infatuation. We always see a fantastic depiction of friendship in all HIMYM episodes. They're a group of friends I admire because of their great friendship.

That guy you call Dad
Barney never had a dad.
It seems like such a harsh
statement to start off a blog with but it’s a sad truth for many children in
todays world. Growing up without a
strong male rolemodel, or even worse to grow up knowing that your father left
you, causes feelings of abandonment and frustration later in life. “daddy issues” as Barney so cheerfully puts
it, and the irony being that Barney who states that “girls with daddy issues
are so easy”, himself has “daddy issues”.
Growing up boys are instilled a fear and awe
of their dads, even when a boy turns into a man and his once tall and strong
father grows old and weary, the young man never truly looses his admiration and
fear of his father. Because as you grew
up he was a role model, he was the one who disciplined you when you did wrong
and the one who encouraged you when you didn’t have faith in yourself. Barney Stinson, a successful banker,
womanizer and all round badass, grew up without a father. He is one in a million because not all kids
who had the same up brining as him could have made it to his level.

Barney Stinson's Infamous Video Resume
Sure, we have all had difficulty in finding a job, even more so, writing a convincing resume so your potential employer hires you. Writing a resume is and always has been a difficult task however recently Barnibus Stinson, a man of greatness and intelligence revolutionised this boring task of resumes. He discovered the infamous Video Resumes. From very discreet and subtle indications of Barney being unequivocally awesome, to pictures and action shots of Barney doing incredibly impressive tasks such as flying fighter jets, surfing 10ft waves, skydiving and of course the necessary yet pointless pictures of cheetah's, sharks and things randomly blowing up. Seems convincing right?!
Well he did manage to score about 3 high paying, high faluting news reporting jobs for his best bro Robin. So I guess they are pretty successful. I might just have to try one myself and then after, I reckon' I'll celebrate by having" a quiet night in with a bro".

A quiet night in with a Bro
It always starts of the same way.. its
Friday night , your bro calls you up and asks you if you want to come over for
a quiet night in. Nothing big, just a
few drinks, pizza and a good movie. You drink a bit, and a bit more, before you
know it you decide to go out to a pub.
Round after round of drinks and you and your bro are smashed, that’s
when the fun starts ! from trolley rides on the foot paths, to stumbling
through quiet suburban streets drunk. A
quiet night turns into the mother of all nights, you find your memory blanking,
and every word you hear causes you to giggle.
You’ve never felt more wilder or freer, but you know at that moment that
you’re living your life. Its moments
like this that you and your bro look back on when your 30 and married, it’s a
moment that all bros share sometime in their life, and sharing these moments is
when two guys go from being mates to “bros”.

Romance
Today's topic: Romance.
Throughout the early episodes of How I Met Your Mother, Barney is portrayed as a womaniser, who would literally not go out with the same girl twice. Recently however, Barney has fallen in love. And it's not the first time.
For all those HIMYM fans, I'm sure you all remember Barney's first love: Nora. A British sweetheart who we all hoped Barney would end up with, even with Robin in the picture. Which brings us to Barney's second love: Robin. He left Nora in front of her parents for her. However Robin couldn't leave Kevin, which left Barney alone.
After what Barney usually does to maintain his awesome-ness, he finally found his current love, Quinn. Although his friends weren't too fond of her at the beginning because of her status as a stripper, they've come to accept her.
Is Quinn really the one? Will Barney be able to handle that she is a stripper? I can't wait to find out!
